Good news for me. A friend who works (worked) at Sprint a couple years back hooked me up with the Sprint Employee Referral Offer (SERO), now called Everything Plus.

I’ve read a few blogs that have said that SERO/EP will not work with the Palm Pre…but I just spoke with a Sprint Rep on the phone and when my cycle renews on June 27th, I will be eligible for the Palm Pre and will be paying the same amount I am per month for my services and nothing will be changed. That’s what’s up. I’m not a reliable news source or blog by any means, but this is coming from a Rep in Customer Care.

Pretty pumped to get mine in late June.

Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I went to a CC besides two weeks ago with my mom to buy some stuff for really cheap. I walked away with a $150 Digital Picture Frame for $60, and my mom got a $150 Digital Voice Recorder (Sony) for $30. Can’t beat that. I also got to see my old friend Peter Baldus!

Too bad, though. Always weird to see a “cornerstone” of retailing just dip out like this. There’s a great article on Gizmodo today about this, check it out here.
