When this posts, I’ll be in one of my favorite cities in the world; Minneapolis, MN.

My cousin Krista is getting married! :) To top it off, her fiance is awesome, a really good dude named Josh. My mom and I will be heading up there Friday morning (7 hr. drive) and then coming back Saturday after we visit my grandma in her nursing home.

In honor of me being there; I’m gonna post a picture I took when I was in Minneapolis in August, when I went to work at the Rhymesayers offices for a few days.

Barack Obama is officially our new President. :) That’s whassup!

In honor of this historic day and the incredible things that this new presidency has brought us already (read: change)…here’s a sweet picture of Roosevelt and Taft in 1909 en route to their ceremony. A stark contrast to the tank-like, bulletproof Cadillac limo that Obama and Biden have been riding around in all day.

Who doesn’t like pictures? I subscribe to like 15 photo blogs (as well as Flickr’s blogs) so I’ve decided to do a POTD. Awesome.

Tomorrow I’m gonna post a grip of previous US Presidential Inaugurations, but today I’ll start out with something simple. This is a picture I found on Flickr of Norway – where my grandpa and most of my ancestors came from in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
