Well, Cage has transformed from his years of…mental hospitals and drugs. New styles and new raps are waiting for us on his new LP which drops in July. Seems to be much more rock influenced. Guess we’ll know soon enough.

I guess this is the lead single for his next album “Depart From Me”, dropping this summer.

Interesting choice on a single, needless to say. I don’t hate it…but it’s part of his new sound and I’m not sure how I feel about it. With time and experiences artists obviously progress and change their style, so I’m not going to write him off at all.

As his new album “Depart From Me” nears release (soon? I’m not even sure) I think a lot of us are getting antsy as to whether or not this is even going to be a rap record.

I think it’s obvious that DPM is going to be incredibly different from “Weatherproof” and even the most recent “Hell’s Winter”. Is he still doing drugs? Do we REALLY know?

Anyway…
