I was just playing around on Twitter and found this which dropped a few days ago.
Awesome!
And here’s the tracks:

Where are you going to be tomorrow night?
I’ll be here. Rap music. Hip-hop. ???
See you there, Milwaukee rap kids!

If there’s one thing I like better than indie rap – it’s free indie rap. The legal way, that is.
My man Sage threw this up this morning and I’m just now grabbing it. It’s a collection of stuff from between 1996 and 2009. Rock on. My stand-out track before hearing this…”Who Farted?” probably. Haha, only from Sage.
Grab it HERE from StrangeFamousRecords.com
If you have money in the recession, then…BUY IT HERE and get an autograph. This will not be in stores.

Any friend of mine knows I’m a big Wu-Tang fan. As well as a Roots fan. As well as a rap fan. What do you get when you combine some elements? THIS SONG!
“Live From The PJs” focuses on the birth of hip-hop in 1974. Huge fan of the beat – as well as Ghostface, Trife Dieseeeeel, and Black Thought. Enjoy my people. Not too high quality, just turn the bass up, right?

In addition to being one of the nicest dudes I’ve ever met – Toki Wright is one hell of a rapper, and he runs them internets. Yet another incredible talent spawned from the lakes of Minnesota. I Self Devine and Brother Ali and Scarub (Living Legends) are all on this album, with even more heads on the hidden track at the end.
Here’s my favorite song off the album and a low budget internet video!
Buy the album at Amazon, Fifth Element, and iTunes.
Here’s a few shout-outs from some rappers at Soundset a few weeks ago:
Go buy it. Now. $8.99 at Fifth Element. That’s a DEAL, my people. Don’t make me sick my dogs on you. Rap!
Well this is just a home-made video, but produced to such a good song. In my ever-changing styles of music listening, here’s some folk-rock out of Canada. Surprise.

I remember listening to some Nadsroic about two months ago and I even added their EP release date in my Calendar… Luckily URBMAG’s Twitter feed reminded me of it.
Here’s a short bio from Urb’s post and a cut off of the EP:
From the global music, art and party collective, LuckyMe, comes the upcoming debut, the June 29th release of Nadsroic, a 6 track EP of folk influenced future Electronica. Nadsroic is the singing/rapping alias of Ciorsdan Brown alongside future break, hip hop / electronic producer Hudson Mohawke aka Hud Mo.
The two have only played a handful of shows as Nadsroic including BBC Radio One Sessions and a few shows alongside Glasgow’s tastemaking Optimo. The electro, prog, and techno influenced duo, have combined futuristic beats and ambient bumps with vocals that are sophisticated and sultry. Half of the EP is based on the standout tracks, “Room Mist”, “Step Back,” and “All Hot” that grab the attention of new listeners and sure to get a thumbs up from the left-field music community.
