Check this stuff out. MU students rock. They sent an e-mail out over the weekend about this and I totally spaced it out earlier today and missed the chance to watch it. Too cool. Bye seniors! Only one year for me…WHAT?!
Murs drops some science from his latest album, Murs For President…
I still like this video even though there’s a few spelling/grammar errors within the text that’s splashed on the screen. Oh, well. Come on post-production; check yourselves.
Nothing short of incredible. Watching this in HD is just…mind blowing. Whoever edited and filmed and everything…just beautiful. Rollerblading is suffering these days, but the love of thousands around the world (Yes – even down under) is keeping it more than alive and capable of producing things like this.
“To be honest, I didn’t expect this to go beyond my living room,” admitted Broken Social Scene guitarist Charles Spearin Wednesday night at Toronto’s Music Gallery, where he debuted the Happiness Project.
We might as well have been in his living room. Spearin had already kicked off his shoes and was treating fans to his experimental, home-spun sound: The recorded voices of family, friends, and neighbors talking about the meaning of happiness were mashed up with a 10-person live band.
…Alright. So here I am at just before 2am, and I need to study. As always, music and the internet get in the way me getting to sleep. But I have been studying – don’t worry. Charles Spearin is a member of Broken Social Scene, one of Canada’s most influential bands. BSS is on the same label as Stars and Feist, among many others whom I love listening to as of late.
Well as much of a fan as I am…I was VERY slow on this one. They released the video for this on March 23. WHERE HAVE I BEEN?!
First is the final, then the making of/behind the scenes, then the acoustic version. All are great. A nice addition to this half sunny/ half rainy day we’re having in Milwaukee.
Mac’s been on Rhymesayers officially since 2005 and dropped an album in Autumn 2007; “11:11″ (order at FifthElement here)
A good dude and a great rapper. One of the only guys who can switch from funny raps to serious raps with little effort. He’s running Black Clover Records and has released his own series of EPs through it, this song is off of the 5th edition: Love Potion # 5. Head to lethalville.net to grab it, and all the others (which are equally fresh)
