Two of the world’s best pro rollerbladers…snowboarding and skiing.

February 9th, 2009

Caught this hotness last night.

Chris Haffey and Brian Aragon are pretty much as good as it gets right now in the game of rollerbootin’. These clips are so sick, especially Aragon’s b/s 360 to front rodeo 5 off the toes! Lovely. Chris Haffey is the one skiing, and Aragon is the one shredding gnar. The song is by The Octopus Project – “Porno Disaster”…buy their stuff too. So good.

the Grammy performance by Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I, Lil Wayne, and M.I.A. last night was solid as a rock. The whole black and white thing was fresh, the live band suited their diverse styles well, and the orchestration and everything seemed flawless. Those who know me know WELL that I am NOT a fan of Kanye nor Wayne, but I don’t mind listening to the others – unless T-Pain or excessive Autotune and shitty loops are on the track. This shows that these artists are PERFORMERS to me, not necessarily how I like to consume all of my music. But two thumbs up for this nonetheless. Good job, it does show that hype and bright lights sell albums and will win you rap album of the year.

Bonjour!

February 9th, 2009

I’m back after a difficult, arduous, and emotional weekend with family. We all go through death but it’s safe to say that we all experience it a different way. Grandma Alice would have been proud to see how much fun we had talking about her and starting to clean her house up.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend.
